摘要
以价值为本的领导理论是 House在综合了 2 0世纪 70年代以后的领导理论后提出的 ,代表了最新的领导理论进展。为了验证以价值为本的领导学理论在中国的有效性 ,本文在 95家企业访谈和问卷调查的基础上 ,对以价值为本的领导行为与领导绩效之间的关系进行了分析。结果表明 ,以价值为本的领导理论非常适合中国的经济环境。此理论所述的核心领导行为能导致下属的认同、满意和激励。
The value based leadership (VBL) theory was proposed by Professor Robert House of Wharton School, which is an integration of the leadership theories proposed after 1970s and is the frontier leadership theory. To empirically test the effectiveness of VBL in China, we analyzed the relationship between VBL and organization effectiveness based upon the interviews and questionnaire investigations from 95 firms. The results show that the VBL theory is applicable to the Chinese business environment. The leadership behaviors of VBL can bring about subordinates' commitment, satisfaction and motivation.
