As a new model of learning in open education, individualised learning satisfies learners' individual requirements in enrolment, method of teaching and learning, media of instruction, and learning management. It is an important method to inspire learners' capabilities in innovation and self-directed learning. It is also an effective approach to build a learning society and to implement quality education.
