This is a part of speech given by Dr. Wu Jianzhong, Director of the Shanghai Library, at the First Chinese Young Librarians' Forum in November of 2002 at Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The reporter talked about the internationalization of the Chinese library profession through the topics of multi-cultural services, international users, international talented people,international business and international exchange.
