摘要
提出了一种适用于五轴数控加工刀具干涉处理的特征投影法。该方法以刀具系为检测基准,以曲面特征点为检测对象,判断特征点是否落入刀具系表面内部来进行干涉检查;以干涉量最大的方向确定干涉消除平面,以此来计算旋转刀轴所需的消除角度。并将刀具系和曲面特征点投影到一个特定平面上,只对可能发生干涉的曲面特征点进行干涉检测,从而大大提高干涉处理效率。
Presented in this paper is Characteristic Projection Method for avoiding cutter interference in 5-axis NC machining, which carried out interference checking through the detection processing of whether there are surface characteristic points located inside the cutter shape. Further-more, a new concepts of interference avoidance plane is introduced, so as to determine interference-free cutter location data rapidly. Both of cutter shape and machining surface are projected onto a specified plane which is divided into a set of grids, and the characteristic points in the grids the projecting figure of cutter shape covered are only used to carry out interference checking in order to decrease greatly the measuring time.
