摘要
本文所指长白山地区新生代火山活动,除白头山之外;还包括长白山南坡鸭绿江上游;北坡图们江、松花江上游和长白山西麓龙岗山脉中段,即龙岗火山群中的火山活动。这里新生代火山岩分布面积13000km^2,大小火山二百多座(图1)。
The Cenozoic volcanoes,volcanic rocks and their pyroclastics are distri- buted in the southern and northern slope of the Changbai mountains,in the Baitoushan and in the western slope(Longgang volcanic cluster)of the Changbai mountains. According to geological occurrence of volcanic rocks,potassium-argon isotopic dilution analysis,C(14)dating and palaeomagnetic dating,episodes of Cenozoic volcanism in the Changbai mountains area can be divided into: In the southern slope of the Changbai mountains(the upper course of the Yalu River):The Changbai episode,early Miocene;the Wangtian'e episode, early Pliocene;the Yanjiangcun episode,late Pliocene;the Hongtoushan epi- sode,late Pliocene;the Yanjiangmeikuang episode,late Pliocene—early stage of early Pleistocene. In the northern slope of the Changbai mountains(the upper course of the Tumen River and Songhua River):The Zhenfengshan episode,early Miocene; the Junjianshan episode,late Pliocene—early stage of early Pleistocene;the Guangping episode,late Pleis-tocene. In the Baitou mountain:the Baitoushan episode,middle Pleistocene;the Qixiangzhan episode,late Pleistocene;the Baiyunfeng episode,Holocence. In the Longgang volcanic cluster:the Sifangdingzi episode,late Oligocene; the Xiaoyizishan episode,early Pleistocene;the Dayizishan episode,middle Pleistocene;the Jinlongdingzi episode,late Pleistocene;the Sihai episode, Holocene.
