The paper introduces a powerful simulation tool Ansoft SIMPLORER ○R 5 0,which has been used to design and conduct the operation analysis of the AC drive.The simulation result matches the experimental testing result perfectly although a simplified power device module is employed.It is the practicability and veracity that has been verified of the Ansoft SIMPLORER ○R 5 0 which can be used to the system design of power electronic circuit and its control.
