A brief introduction is made of the basic concept of risk analysis,the evolution of the methods of risk analysis,and the commonly-used methods for pipeline risk analysis.A detailed discussion is made of the development and theoretical and methodological research of risk analysis in regard to its application in oil and gas pipelines.Some opinions and suggestions are given on the strength of relevant data.
