摘要 近年来,以基因工程技术为核心的现代农业生物技术在世界范围内取得了惊人的发展,一大批利用现代基因工程技术研究的抗虫、抗病、耐除草剂的转基因农作物新品种已经培育成功.与此同时,在各国政府的大力参与下,转基因植物及转基因植物食品的产业化步伐不断加快,预计以转基因植物为主要内容的现代农业生物技术将成为21世纪许多国家的重要支柱产业之一,并在解决人类目前所面临的粮食供应短缺、环境恶化、资源匮乏、效益衰减等问题上发挥巨大作用. The worldwide success in modern agro-biotechnology based on genetic engineering has benn made in recent years, and a considerable amount of genetically engineered crops have been produced, wiht the characters oi insect resistance, disease resistance, herbicide tolerance, and high quality and quanitity. Meanwhile, the industrialization of these transgenic crops has been speed up with the help of governments, It is expected that the agro-biotechnology will become one of the major industrial fields of many countries. It is also expected that the modern agro-biotechnology will play the main part in solving the problems such as food supply shortage, environment deterioration, resource shortage and benefit attenuation. Besides the technological factors, the development of genetically modified crops will also be effected by the attitude of customers towards them and many other social factors. In this paper, the social factors affecting the development of genetically modified crops are discussed, and the appropriate measures are forwarded.
