摘要
党的十六大高举邓小平理论、全面贯彻“三个代表”重要思想,明确提出了全党全国在新世纪头20年的奋斗目标和推进各项工作的方针政策。江泽民在十六大的报告中指出当前中国外交要:一、把握时代特征,二、推动世界两大趋势的发展,三、实现国际外交四大主张,四、继续落实六项外交政策。我们要深入学习十六大精神,切实贯彻十六大精神,与时俱进、开拓创新,再创外交工作的新局面。
Holding up Deng Xiaopings theory and carrying out thoroughly the important thought of 'three represents' the party has put forward its overallgoal and the policy for every task of the first twenty years in the new centuryduring the period of the 16th National Congress of CPC., Jiang Zemin points outin the 16th National Congress report that China's diplomacy should abide by thefollowing principles: first, seize the characteristics of the times; second, push forward the development of the two major trends of the world; third, realize the four propositions of international diplomacy; forth, continue to implement the six foreign policies. We should study and implement carefully the spirit of the 16th National Congress of CPC and keep up with the times, blaze a new road and create a new situation for diplomacy.
