摘要
本文介绍在共振条件下,用连续运行的可调谐CO_2激光器观察HgCdTe中的简并四波混频,获得混频信号反射率达~2%,由实验结果可估算三阶非线性极化率X^((3))~3×10^(-2)esu,该非线性光学效应的产生可归结于带间吸收饱和。
This paper reports the observation of degenerate four-ware mixing ia Hg0.6Cd0. 2 Te using a CW CO2 laser operasing in the spectral region which is resonant with the bandgap. Mixing signal reflectivities of -2% have been obtained. From the experimental results a third order nonlinear susceptibility x(3)-3 ×10-3esu has been estimated. The large nonlinear optical effect could contribute to saturation of the in-terband absorption.
