摘要 船体曲面用数学方法表示的重要意义在于其能利用曲面模型进行性能分析计算及为后续的CAM提供所需数据,提高效率与精度.从曲面造型数学工具的发展过程及各种数学方法应用于船体曲面造型两个方面,总结了近几十年来国内外曲面造型与船体曲面造型的应用研究进展,指出了船体曲面NURBS造型的关键技术,并探讨了需要进一步研究的难点问题,为更加合理有效地表达船体曲面提供一些借鉴作用. The mathematical description of ship hull surface is of significance. It can be used to calculate the hydrostatic and hydrodynamic properties of ship and to supply necessary data for subsequent CAM apart from hull model visualization. Ship hull modeling offers a universal platform for design, analysis, manufacture and management to improve efficiency and precision. It will lay a solid foundation for the implementation of CIMS in the shipbuilding. Development of mathematical methods related to sculptured surface modeling is reviewed, and their applications to hull surface modeling at home and abroad during recent decades are summarized. With perfect properties, NURBS surface has become main method of free-form surface modeling. The key techniques for NURBS-based hull form modeling are presented and some difficulties that need further research are also discussed.
