使用透射式电子显微镜观察和分析了Si-Ti-B掺杂烧结金刚石/硬质合金(PDC)中金刚石层(PCD)的显微组织、金刚石及其粘结相的形态与结构。烧结后的金刚石晶粒有两种:具有高位错密度的晶粒是经塑性变形而未发生再结晶的晶粒和有低位错密度的已发生了再结晶的晶粒。晶体学取向不同的片层状β-SiC是主要粘结相,连续分布于金刚石颗粒之间。粘结相中的TiC颗粒分布在金刚石和β-SiC的边界上。此外,还有微量的残留的Si和Ti颗粒分布在金刚石边界或β-SiC颗粒之间。本文还讨论了烧结过程中上述物相的形成及其对材料力学性质的影响。
The microstructure of high-pressure sintered diamonds/cemented tungsten carbide composite (PDC) doped with Si-Ti-B was examined by transmission electron microscopy. Two kinds of diamonds were observed, i.e.sintered diamond grains with high dislocation density and recrystallized and regrown diamond grains with low dislocation density. Layered β-SiC in random orientation is the main constituent of binder phase and distributes continuously around the diamond grains. TiC particles in the binder phase locate at the diamond and β-SiC grainboundaries. In addition, few residual Si and Ti particles are also in the grainboundaries of diamonds and β-SiC. Furthermore, the formation of binder phases and their effects on the mechanical properties of sintered diamonds are discussed.
