Rectification is an important unit operation in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, its energy consumption takes about 60% in chemical production, and its energy-saving means include the adoption of a new-type of high-effiency separation technology, a new type of trays and a new type of packings. The use of these technologies in the methanol industry brings about an increase in output by 50%~150%, a decrease in energy by 30%~50% and a period for the recovery of investment in technical renovation of 1~3 months in general.
