摘要
西学东渐以来,中国学术始终面临着合法性危机。上个世纪初,中国学者以胡适和冯友兰为代表,按照西方哲学的概念系统疏理中国的文献典籍,形成了中国哲学史这门学科。然而,中国哲学却不断地遭遇究竟是不是哲学的难题。不过,我们不妨以"思想"概念来取代广义的哲学概念,认为西方思想采取哲学思路的特殊方式,于是我们现在面临的问题是:中国思想具有什么样的特殊方式?然而真正关键的问题乃在于中国哲学是否具有应对当今时代之现实问题的潜力。
Since the time of the West learning landing the East, Chinese learning has been confronted with the crisis of legitimacy. In the beginning of 20th century, Chinese scholars, Hu Shi and Feng Youlan as representatives, sorted out Chinese literature according to the conceptual systems in Western philosophy and formed the branch of study of Chinese philosophy history. But Chinese philosophy is continually faced with the problem whether it is philosophy. This essay introduces the notion of thought instead of philosophy in a broad sense and takes Western thought as the special approach of philosophy. Therefore, what we are confronted now is what kind of special approach Chinese philosophy has. In this way, the key problem lies in whether Chinese philosophy has the potentiality to deal with the present problems.
