The article points out that there is in correct relationships in handling with market management and spot management tor some enterprises and there exists a tendency of emphasizing the former while ignoring the oatter. The author also discusses the position and function of spot management under market economic condition. He concludes that strengthening spot management is a basis on which the enterprise can be invincible in the sharp market competition and on effective channel to enterprises' potential and efficiency.
