摘要
目的 探讨无损数据压缩在数据采集系统中的应用.方法 通过对几种常用的无损数据压缩方法比较,验证了LZW算法在数据采集系统中应用的可行性,给出了LZW算法的基本思想及改进方法,并研究了利用VHDL及FPGA实现硬件压缩的可行性.结果 LZW算法在数据采集系统中具有较好的压缩效果.结论 用FPGA实现无损数据压缩可以获得较高的速率,适合在微型数据采集系统中应用.
Aim To research lossless data compression in data acquisition systems. \{Methods\}After comparing several data compression algorithms including LZW algorithm and the improved one, the authors have studied the possibility for LZW hardware implementation by FPGA.Results\ LZW algorithm is the best one in data acquisition systems. Conclusions\ We can get higher compression speed by FPGA. This method is suitable for micro data acquisition systems.
