Studies on Blends and Composites Containing Thermotropic Liquid Crystalline Polyesters

摘要 评述了热致液晶聚酯的共混物与复合材料的研究新进展,揭示了热行为与相容性、流变性与加工性以及形态结构与多种性能之间的内在联系,展望了应用于高强高模纤维与塑料、低热膨光纤涂层及低透气包装膜等高性能材料的前景. This review article presents the important recent advances in blends containing thermotropic liquid crystalline polyesters(TLCP)and in composites of TLCP with carbon fiber(CF)and glass fiber(GF)respectively. The intrinsic relationships between thermal behavior and miscibility, rheological behaviour and processability, morphological structure and several properties are revealed. The blends and composites useful in fibers and plastics with high strength and modulus,optical fiber coatings with low thermal expansion coefficient, and packaging films with low gas permeability are also forecast.
