摘要
论述了我国定点潮汐形变观测与GPS在观测周期、物理量、频域、实测精度、监测优势诸方面的异同 ,认为定点潮汐形变观测是测震学与大地测量 (含GPS)的必要补充。介绍了我国定点潮汐形变观测技术的发展与台网观测技术 ,以及它在我国 10多次中强震测报中的作用。
This paper puts emphasis on the fixed point tidal deformation observation in China, which fills the blank in the frequency field between seismometry and geodesy (including GPS), and describes the similarities and differences with GPS in observational cycle, physical quantity, frequency field ,observational accuracy and advantage in monitoring, and then it is concluded that this observation can not be substituted by GPS but it is a necessary supplement of GPS survey. The development of the observational technique of tidal deformation and the international advanced level of station network observation are introduced . Furthermore, the outstanding contributions of tidal deformation observation to the prediction of over ten strong earthquakes in China are reported.
