The inner profile is one of key factors which influence the productivity and fuel rate of BF. High productivity must be accompanied with reducing the fuelrate and keeping furnace body in good condition as long as possible. The first important measure for prolonging the furnace life is correct operating principle. Simple raise of smelting intensity may lead to energy wasting and fast lining damage.
