The transport of a Brownian motor driven by an external fluctuation in a two dimensional (2D) coupled asymmetrical periodic potential is studied. The optimization of both the current and efficiency in the 2D rocked ratchet can be found at finite temperature. For a correction ratchet, the maximal current is increased by two orders of magnitude over the one dimension, and the coupling between 1D and 2D can affect the current.
