以放射免疫分析法定期观察11只猕猴早期妊娠血清孕酮水平,发现自交配第5天开始孕酮水平升高,持续较高水平直至第40天左右,随后迅速下降并稳定在低水平状态。妊猴血清孕酮水平的变化规律有助于妊娠的早期诊断。
Blood samples were taken on the first day of mating and subsequently at 5-day intervals through- out 80 days gestation. Circulating levels of progesterone were defermined by radioimmunoassay. The progesterone level increased on the 5th day after mating till the 40th day and declined to relatively con- stant levels thereafter. The observation of the levels of progesterone before, during and after animal mating could be used to diagnose animal's gestation.
