摘要
介绍一个多层地层实体造型系统的设计方案与实现方法。它可以根据地表面和地下地层分界面上的采样点,获得各个材质相同的地层的实体模型。地层实体用多面体的边界表示法来表示,由布尔集合运算来获得。该系统可用于地矿信息的可视化与分析以及土木工程地下结构的计算机辅助设计等领域。
This paper presents an approach to multi-strata solid modeling. The original data are the sampling points on the ground and on the boundary of different strata. The final solids of strata are represented by polygonal boundary representations, which are constructed by Boolean set operations. A prototype system with this approach has been implemented. It can be used in many geology-related fields, such as visualization and analysis of ore resources, and computer-aided design of some underground artifacts in civil engineering.
