类胡萝卜素生物合成的遗传工程研究

摘要 类胡萝卜素是一类橘黄、黄色或红色的色素,存在于质体中,具有许多不同的生物功能和生物活性。 本文综述了近年来用遗传工程手段改造微生物和植物类胡萝卜素生物合成途径,开发用来分离所需类胡萝卜素 的微生物资源及高类胡萝卜素含量的食用植物的方法、成果和存在的问题。 Caroteinoids, which have a range of diverse biological functions and actions, are orange, yellow, or red pigments present in all plastids. This review summarizes the strategies, achievements and problems in modifying and engineering the carotenoid biosynthetic pathways to provide source for the isolation of desired carotenoids or to generate food plants with increased carotenoid content.
