摘要
词汇习得是第二语言习得的中心任务 ,而词汇知识的质和量与词汇学习策略密切相关。在大学英语词汇教学中 ,教师应发挥主导作用 ,帮助学生形成并运用多种词汇学习策略 ,提高词汇学习效率 ,缩小词汇宽度 (即词汇量 )与深度的距离 ,达到词汇能力和词汇知识的平衡发展。
Vocabulary acquisition is the main task of learning a second language. The quantity and quality of word knowledge has much to do with vocabulary learning strategies. In teaching college English vocabulary, teachers, taking the leading role, should help the students establish various learning strategies, improve the efficiency of vocabulary learning, and shorten the distance between the vocabulary breadth ( i.e. glossary of vocabulary ) and depth (i.e. word knowledge) so as to develop the word knowledge as well as the ability of using vocabulary in a balance way.
