*'The magnetostrictive principle is introduced,and the magnetostrictive displacement,level sensing principle and the overall structure of the magnetostrictive level sensor are analyzed.Then the structure and the material of the tubular waveguide,the principle of the wavereceiving and the implementation method,the theory of time measuring are discussed,and temperaturecompensate and antidisturbance methods are presented in order to realize high precision measurement.All the theoretic analysis above can provide theoretic guidance for the designing and applying of the sensor.
