摘要
铝压铸模具的主要失效形式是热疲劳。解剖失效模具发现:热疲劳裂纹是穿晶的,存在疲劳辉纹,部分裂纹被铝填充,局部表层有软化。间接地测定了表层的温度。表层与基体间温度梯度的存在及交变,是导致铝压铸模具热疲劳失效的直接因素;铝压铸模具的热疲劳具有高周疲劳的特性,应从高周疲劳的角度来讨论影响模具使用寿命的主要因素及提高寿命的措施。
The occurence of heat checks is the main cause for most failures of aluminum die
casting dies.By analysing the failed dies,it was found out that heat checks were transgranular,
filled with aluminum alloy in some of them,and that fatigue striations existed on the fracture
section of the heat check.There are some softening areas in the die surface layer.The die tem-
perature was indirecty measured.The temperature gradient from the surface to the center of a
die is the main factor that leads the die to fail,which cyclically exchanges during casting.The
thermal fatigue of aluminum die casting dies has some characteristics of high cycle fatigue.There-
fore,it seems reasonable that discussing the limiting die life factors and taking steps to prolong
lie life should be based on high cycle fatigue theory.
