本文记述我国新怯寄蝇属共三种,其中包括一个新种,编有三种的检索表。
This paper deals with three species of the genus Neophryxe Townsend from China, among them one is described as new to science. A key to the Chinese species of Neophryxe Townsend is given. Type speciments are deposited in the Institute of Zoology Academia Sinica, Beijing.Neophryxe exserticercus sp. nov.The new species is closely allied to N. psychidis Townsend and N. basalts (Baranov), but deffers from the former in the eyes haired, ocellar setae absent, parafrontal hairs thin, short and rare, outer vertical setae sbsent in male, proboscis longer and thiner, its length three times as its width, male cerci convex along the dorsal mid-line in the basal half part, keel-like, it differs from the latter by median discals lacked on 3-4th tergetes of abdomen, male cerci with black hairs dorsally. Body length 6-7mm.Holotype ♂, Hainan Prov: Wuzhi Shan (18.9°N, 109.7°E), 1982. Ⅸ.
