The inflammatory reactions observed clinically and histopathologically in the tissue ad-
hesive group was markedly severer than that observed in the control group(suture).This re-
action was clinical inflammatory oedema and dried crust.The histopathologic inflammatory
index and wound healing process confirmed a marked difference between the experiment and
control sheep.The most likely explanation for the inflammatory reaction and broad
granulation tissue formed associated with the tissue adhesive is the presence of the foreign ma-
terial.
