摘要
从机械挡光型衰减器的原理结构出发 ,在理论与实验两方面证实了挡光型可变衰减器的衰减量应包括直接挡光能量衰减和模场失配衰减两部分 ,并得出了这两种衰减量之间的相互关系。
Based on the analysis and calculation of attenuation of the light-blocked attenuator in theory and experiment, it was found that the total attenuation should include light-blocked-only attenuation and mode-field mismatched attenuation. The results show that the magnitude of light-blocked-only attenuation is equal to that of mode-field mismatched attenuation, even in the case that the loss of optical path is considered. This quantization relationship is favorable for the better design of light-blocked structure of the attenuator, the reduction of insert loss of components and the improvement of performance.
