Mr.Ning Xi is an outstanding fable writer of the Bai Nationality and occupies an important position in the creative fable writing of Chinas New period Literature.Three features of his artistic creation deserve our serious study:Firstly,his fables,which grow out from the bottom of his heart,are not only large in number but also good in quality.Secondly,the fable world created by him contains a large quantity of information,touches numerous areas of life and is full of unusual events.The theme of each of his fables is often new.And thirdly,the style of his fable is fickle.Some fables are short with a simple story;some are long with a complicated plot;and some are in series.To continue an old plot in a new story is one of his successful methods.
