摘要
根据地质学的主要研究对象和对其研究的思维特点及方法,认为地质学的实质就是古地质学。此思想的形成,贯穿了迄今笔者在西北大学学习、教学和科研的整个过程。(古)地质学研究虽与其他学科相似,也是由果溯因,但所依据的证据主要来自对已发生现象的搜寻和发现。这些现象发生和证据形成的过程,既不可能直接观察,也无法再造和重复实验;恢复古地质面貌和再现其发生过程,难度大、探索性强,迄今尚无现成的模式,也缺乏系统的方法。其研究结论常有多解性,需综合论证、多次反复,始有正果。中国大陆活动性强,沉积盆地后期改造强烈。古地质研究和盆地原始面貌恢复,对中国改造盆地油气成藏机理及分布规律研究的深化和提高勘探成效有重要意义。
According to the main research object and thinking characteristic of geology,it may be suggested that geology is really palaeogeology, which has developed gradually and grown in the whole course of my study,teaching and scientific research in Northwest University.The research on palaeogeology is to duduce the causes from the effect, which is similar with other subjects.While the proof by which the conclusion is got is mainly acquired by seeking and detecting. The phenomena which happened and the courses in which the proof was formed can not be reached through direct observation and can be never reproduced or experimnented again and again.It is difficult to rebuild the palaeogeological patterns and reconstruct the deveoloping courses which needs high exploration.Therefore,there has still been no patterns and systemtical ways to research.The research conclusion is not unique,which needs repeated reasoning integration so as to get correct result.The Chinese continent has the character of strong activity and the sedimentary basins are reformed in late stage.The research on the palaeogeology and reconstruction of the origional basins is of great significance to understand the poolforming mechanism and the rules of distribution and enhance exploration.
