摘要
海平面变化的问题,尤其是测深与海平面变化的关系,学术界存在一些混乱的观念。本文在Vail等和Cisne等工作的基础上,讨论了海平面变化与水深变化和沉积速率的关系,表明海平面的变化同时与水深和沉积速率有关,不能简单地以水深的变化代替海平面变化。
Some conceptions of sea-level change, especially of the relationships between sea-level change and water depth, are misinterpreted by some geologists. This paper discusses relationships of sea-level change with water depth change and sedimentation rate in light of works of Cisne et al. [4-6], and shows that the amount of sea-level change is the sum of water depth change and sedimentation rate. Therefore, the amount of sea-level change can not be directly replaced by water depth if the sedimentation rate proves very high
