摘要
本文对华北地区第三地震活动期和第四地震活动期M_s≥6的地震活动进行了研究。发现这两个活动期地震活动时间进程和各震级地震频次分布十分相似。由此推论华北地区第四地震活动期的高潮可能已经过去,今后该地区可能还有三次左右6级多地震。文章最后简单讨论了第四活动期地震强度较弱和持续时间较短的可能原因。
This paper studied Ms≥6 earthquakes in the 3rd and 4th seismically active periods in North China. It is found that the time progress of seismic activities and the distribution of seismic frequencies with various magnitudes in both seismically active periods are quite similar. It can be concluded from the above-mentioned studies that the climax episode of seismic activity of the 4th seismically active period in North China has been over and there will occur there earthquakes with 6≤MS≤7 in this period. Finally, the possible reasons why the seismic energy is smaller and the lasting time is shorter are briefly discussed in this paper.
