地震分形研究中应当注意的几个问题 被引量:3

摘要 我国地震界将分形理论应用于地震科学研究,已经取得了一批初步的然而是很有意义的成果。但是,对于分形理论这样一个崭新的、正在发展中的领域,人们还不很熟悉。根据一些同志研究成果中出现的这样或那样的问题乃至错误,笔者认为,当前应当引起注意的有: 1.公式和计算方法的正确使用。2.样本容量和误差的问题。3.对“无标度区”的选择和判定尚缺乏有效的客观标准。4.一些新种类“分维”的引入尚值得商榷。5.大震前的“减熵降维”无疑是一种重要的模式,但可能不是唯一的模式。6.当前在将分形方法运用于地震预报实践时,应持慎重态度。 作者坦诚地向地震界同仁指出这些问题和错误,目的在于促进这项工作准确、深入的开展。 The application of the fractal-form theory to the scientific research of earthquake in China has achieved some preliminary but significant results. However, up to now most people are not very familiar to this new and developing field.. According to various problems and even errors occurred in some researches, authors consider that the attentions should be paid to the following aspects: 1. correct use of the formula and computational methods; 2. Sample capacity and error; 3. Selection and determination of 'non-scale region' are short of effective objective criteria; 4. Introduction of a few new sorts of 'Fractal Dimension' is worth discussing; 5. 'Reducing the entropy and dimension' before large earthquakes are undoubtedly an important model, but it is probably not the only one; 6. The application of the fractal-form method to earthquake prediction practice should adopt a prudent attitude at present. Authors here piont out these problems and errors to colleagues in seismological circles honestly, and the purposes lie in promoting adequate and deep-going development of this research work.
