THE EFFECT OF OXIDATION -REDUCTION CONDITIONS ON THE HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL AND THERMO STABILITY OF ORGANIC MATTER

摘要 在南华北石炭、二叠纪含煤岩系中发现了沉积—成岩阶段氧化程度逐渐加深的陆生高等植物来源的有机质系列,对该系列有机质的综合研究表明:随氧化程度加深,高等植物的类脂组分基本保持不变,而木质纤维组分可形成由镜质体到惰性体的连续系列,镜质体反射率逐渐增大,有机质的生烃能力逐渐减小,但经过高度氧化的有机质(Ⅳ型干酪根)仍具有一定的生油能力;有机质的热稳定性逐渐减弱;干酪根的碳同位素组成逐渐加重。 An increasingly oxidized land -plant organic matter (OM) series in which the total organic carbon content ( TOC) and hydrogen index(Ⅲ) decrease , oxygen index ( OI ) and vitrinite reflectance (R0) increase with decreasing Fe^(2+)/Fe^(3+) is found in Carboniferous -Permian coal-bearing strata in Niqiuji Depression ,North China .Systimatical studies on selected samples in this OM series indicate : (1) the hydrocarbon potential of OM decreases with increase of oxidation degree ,but even the highly oxidized land -plant OM (Type IV kerogens) which is usually considered as 'dead carbon' with no hydrocarbon potential still has certain ability to generate petroleum-hydrocarbons (C15 -C25 ); (2) The higher the level of the oxidation of OM , the lower the thermostability is , thus ,Type IV kerogens formed by high oxidation of land-plant OM is not only not 'dead', but abnormally 'active'; (3) As the oxidation level increases ,R0 and δ13C values of kerogens increase ,indicating that R0 is not only controlled by thermal history , but also influenced by the depositional conditions of the vitrinite macerals . and that the variations in oxidation-reduction conditions in which the vitrinite macerals are formed are the main cause of vitrinite reflectance anomalies .
