摘要
在冷兵器时代和以冷兵器为主要兵器的时代 ,军事需要主导了武术的发展。一种新技术在发现后通常都是首先应用于军事。火药的发明和火器的使用从各个方面改变着战争。火器在军事中取代冷兵器占有主要地位以后 ,使用冷兵器的技术也在军事中失去了它原来的价值。此时武术面临两种选择 ,或彻底地消亡 ,或在它原来较为次要的社会价值中寻找在新的历史条件下继续存在的依据和发展因素 ,探索新的发展道路。武术以具技击色彩的健身运动和具健身特点的对抗性竞技运动的形式出现 ,不仅满足了社会各阶层的精神需要和健身需要 ,同时还能满足人们对自卫的部分技术需要和心理需要。更具体育性质的武术应运而生了。
In the era of cold weapons and of using cold weapons as the dominant,the military needs decide the development of Wushu. Any new technology is used in the military after its invention. The invention of fire powder and the application of fire weapons can change a war from many aspects. With fire weapons replacement of cold weapons,the technology of cold weapons has lots its military values. Then there exsist two choices for Wushu,either to vanish or to seek for development under the new historical situation. With its antagonistic and bodybuilding characteristics,Wushu can meet the spiritual,bodybuilding and psychological needs of people from different social status and can satisfy peoples needs for self defense.
