摘要
As the reader states, establishing a highly generalizable predictive model for carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae(CRE)infection in pediatric patients after liver transplantation poses significant challenges.Temporal validation is a recognized challenge^([1]).Our study employed temporal validation to rigorously assess the model's robustness across different time periods.Although epidemiological shifts are possible, the model consistently identified strong, patientspecific risk factors, including pre-transplant colonization and surgical complications, which supports its transportability. The model performed well in the high-risk validation cohort, which had elevated CRE colonization rates, supporting its applicability across diverse settings. We fully agree on the need for continuous validation in newer cohorts and have plans to do so in our ongoing research.
