摘要
货币金融史文本的英译质量对正确传递我国金融知识至关重要。本文以金融领域经典著作《白银帝国:一部新的中国货币史》的英译本为例,探讨了货币金融史英译文本的特征,阐释了该译本的英译方法,对理解金融翻译的词句特征及解决翻译问题具有借鉴作用。
The Chinese-English translation quality of monetary and financial history texts is significant for the accurate transmission of China's financial knowledge to the world.Taking the translated classic work in the financial field,Empire of Silver—A New Monetary History of China,as an example,this study explores the textual features related to monetary and financial history and interprets the Chinese-English translation methods of the English version.The results have referential value for understanding translation features and addressing translation problems in financial English.
