摘要
通过对与师旂鼎密切相关的班簋、旂鼎等铜器的系联,以及鼎铭所载之伯懋父和师旂等人物关系、相关历史事件、时间空间和内在逻辑关系的梳理和分析,推定师旂鼎和班簋的年代皆不应晚于昭王时期。师旂鼎的器形、纹饰及铭文等各方面信息,也都表明其应系昭王时器。由此判定师旂鼎应系西周早期昭王时器无疑,而非所谓的西周中期穆王时器。师旂鼎的器主师旂为伯懋父属下,与伯懋父年代相仿,系康昭时人;班簋的器主毛班为毛伯即伯懋父之子,系昭穆时人;师旂的活动年代要早于毛班,师旂鼎的年代也应早于班簋。师旂鼎作于昭王十六年伐楚之前,班簋则作于昭王伐楚失败之后,穆王即位之前,系昭穆之际器,鼎簋是昭穆之际纷繁复杂的历史见证。
Through the contextual association of the Ban Gui and Qi Ding closely related to the Shiqi Ding,and by examining the character relationships between Bomaofu and Shiqi mentioned in the inscriptions,alongside the historical events,temporal and spatial contexts,and inherent logical connections documented therein,it is inferred that both the Shiqi Ding and the Ban Gui should date no later than the reign of King Zhao.The form,decoration,and inscriptions of the Shiqi Ding all indicate that it should be attributed to the reign of King Zhao.It is therefore concluded that the Shiqi Ding undoubtedly dates to the early Western Zhou period during the reign of King Zhao,rather than the socalled mid-Western Zhou period during the reign of King Mu.The owner of the Shiqi Ding,Shiqi,was a subordinate of Bomaofu and lived during the same period as Bomaofu,belonging to the era of King Kang and King Zhao.The owner of the Ban Gui was Maoban,son of Bomaofu,who lived during the reign of King Zhao and King Mu.The period of activity for Shiqi predates that of Maoban,and the Shiqi Ding should likewise be dated earlier than the Ban Gui.The Shiqi Ding was cast in the sixteenth year of King Zhao’s reign,prior to the campaign against Chu.The Ban Gui was crafted following King Zhao's unsuccessful campaign against Chu and prior to King Mu’s accession,thus constituting an artefact from the transitional period between the reigns of King Zhao and King Mu.They bear witness to the intricate and complex history of the transition between the reigns of the King Zhao and King Mu.
