Styphnolobium japonicum‘Winter Gold’has become an important colorful-leaved tree species for landscaping in northern China due to its golden-yellow branches in winter and excellent ecological adaptability.This paper elaborates on the key operational points and technical specifications of critical stages,including rootstock cultivation(covering seed treatment,seedbed preparation,sowing,post-sowing management,and transplanting),high grafting(detailing methods such as rootstock and scion preparation,cleft grafting,side grafting,and bark grafting),and post-grafting management(including moisture retention,binding removal,sprout elimination,and field management).It provides practical guidance for efficient seedling cultivation and landscape application of Styphnolobium japonicum'Winter Gold'in Shenyang.
