摘要
缺血性脑卒中(IS)是全球疾病致残致死的主要原因,而现有的治疗手段在神经再生等方面存在着一定缺口。因此,寻找新的治疗策略尤为重要。冰片作为一种多靶点神经保护剂,因其在IS治疗中的潜力近年来被广泛关注。尽管现有研究提供了良好的临床前证据,但仍缺乏充分的临床数据支持其疗效和安全性。文章综述了冰片通过调控氧化应激、炎症反应、保护血脑屏障、促进血管新生及抑制细胞凋亡等多种机制,表明了冰片在治疗IS中的显著神经保护作用。并深入探讨冰片在IS治疗中的潜在作用及其分子机制,并系统梳理近几年间冰片治疗IS的分子机制研究进展,为冰片进一步治疗IS提供思路和参考。
Ischemic stroke(IS)is a leading cause of disability and mortality worldwide.However,current therapies remain limited,particularly in promoting neuroregeneration.Therefore,the development of novel therapeutic strategies is crucial.Borneol,a multitarget neuroprotective agent,has gained significant interest recently owing to its therapeutic potential for IS.Despite substantial preclinical evidence supporting its efficacy,sufficient clinical data are still in lack.This review summarizes the mechanisms by which borneol alleviates IS,which include modulating oxidative stress,suppressing inflammatory responses,protecting the blood-brain barrier(BBB),promoting angiogenesis,and inhibiting neuronal apoptosis.These mechanisms contribute to the neuroprotective effects of borneol observed in IS models.Building on this mechanistic understanding,the review further explores the therapeutic potential of borneol for IS and systematically examines recent advances in its molecular mechanisms against IS.This review provides insights and references for further investigation into borneol’s therapeutic applications for IS.
