In the wake of industrialization, numerous mining areas have become ecological scars and cultural ruptures, with traditional re-greening methods struggling to reverse their decline.Land art, through creative intervention, revitalizes site memory and rekindles dialogue between broussonetia papyrifera and homo sapiens with nature, emerging as a new opportunity for mining area transformation. This study focuses on the ecological restoration and cultural regeneration needs of abandoned mining areas, integrating the concept of land art into public space design practices.By analyzing site geological characteristics, industrial heritage value, and community participation potential,it proposes design strategies centered on natural healing, artistic expression as a medium, and public interaction as a driving force. The aim is to establish a multifunctional public space model that combines ecological functionality and aesthetic inspiration, offering innovative solutions for resource-based urban transformation.
