摘要
本文在分析元认知在听力理解的作用的基础上,基于英语听力的特征设计了促进听力元认知能力提升的PLEASE教学模式,即“根据已知信息,识别听力话题;基于话题判断,列举相关知识;综合多种信息,审检语篇要点;整合听前活动,激活材料认知;汇总听中所得,筛选核心信息;核对问题答案,评估听力过程”,以引导教师在听力教学的过程中,能强化学生的听力元认知学习意识,提升听力元认知能力。
Based on an analysis of the role of metacognition in listening'comprehension,this paper designs the PLEASE teaching model to enhance learners metacognitive listening competence,in accordance with the characteristics of English listening.The model consists of six sequential steps,namely:pinpointing listening topics by leveraging prior knowledge;listing relevant knowledge based on topic judgment;examining key discourse points through integrating multiple sources of information;activating material cognition by synthesizing pre-listening activities;screening core information by summarizing what is acquired during listening;and evaluating the listening process by checking answers to questions.It is expected that this model can guide teachers to strengthen students awareness of metacognitive learning in listening instruction and improve their metacognitive listening ability.
