摘要
“蚩尤”是西周以前统治集团对带头造反者的蔑称,属于政治术语。3000多年以来,“蚩尤”一词的含义发生了很大的变化。他从统治集团对带头造反者的蔑称,经历了神话人物、历史人物、兵器制造专家、战神、部落首领等阶段,逐步演变为人们对苗族始祖的特定称谓,把他当作中华民族始祖之一。每一种含义都反映了当时的社会需求,都是人们根据时代的需要赋予的。“蚩尤”一词承载着丰富的历史文化信息,既是一个古老的政治术语,也是一个具有鲜明时代色彩的特殊称谓,具有很高的研究价值。
"Chiyou"was a derogatory term used by the ruling class before the Western Zhou Dynasty to refer to the leaders of rebellion,which belonged to political terminology.Over the past 3ooo years,the meaning of the word"Chiyou"has undergone significant changes.It has started from a derogatory term for the leaders of rebellion used by the ruling class,and then become a term for mythological figure,historical figure,weapon manufacturing expert,war god,and tribal leader in different stages,and gradually evolved into a specific appellation for the ancestor of the Miao people,who regards him as one of the ancestors of the Chinese nation.Each meaning reflects the social needs of the time and is endowed by people according to the needs.The word"Chiyou"carries rich historical and cultural information.It is not only an ancient political terminology,but also a special appellation with distinct epochal characteristics.It is of great research value.
