摘要
泰国妈祖信仰是中国清代“下南洋”移民潮带入中南半岛的核心文化符号,在其宫庙祭祀仪式与日常信仰中长期呈现汉语方言与泰语并置、互译与混用的语言现象。通过系统考察神名称谓、庙宇景观、祭祀仪式中的中泰语言融合实践,发现泰国妈祖信仰中的语言融合不仅维系了中华文化核心符号的连续性,同时还推动了泰国华人移民共同体从单一的“侨居群落”转向“跨文化网络”的进程。泰国妈祖信仰中的语言融合实践对理解全球化语境下的文化共生现象具有示范意义,其中尊重主体性、场景适配与实体载体是其可持续发展的重要机制。
The belief of Mazu in Thailand,a core cultural symbol introduced into the Indochina Peninsula during the Qing-era Chinese migration to Southeast Asia,has long presented a linguistic phenomenon of parallel existence,mutual ranslation,and mixed usage of Chinese dialects and the Thai language in its temple rituals and daily worship.Through systematic into the practice of language integration in the naming of gods and goddesses,temple landscapes,and sacrificial rituals,this paper finds that the language integration in the belief of the Thai Mazu not only sustains the continuity of core symbols of Chinese culture but also advances the process of transformation from a singular“diaspora community”to a“transcultural network” of Thai immigrants.This paper underlines that the practice of language integration in the Thai Mazu belief is demonstrative of understanding cultural symbiosis in the context of globalization,and respecting subjects,adapting to scenarios,and entity carriers are important mechanisms for its sustainable development.
