摘要
针对传统圆形波导杆中声发射信号衰减显著的问题,通过引入多边形截面的离散对称性来改变其连续对称的边界条件,进而调控传播模态,并采用断铅与定频试验系统验证其性能。结果表明,七边形波导杆的信号衰减率可降至25.55%,较圆形波导杆的衰减率(58.61%)显著降低;当多边形边数n由3增至5时,衰减率因边界条件优化而急剧下降;在n≥5后,衰减率因模态净化效应趋于饱和而保持稳定。该现象揭示了截面形状通过平衡模态净化与边界散射作用以抑制衰减的内在机制,可为复杂工况下声发射监测系统中波导杆的设计提供理论依据与设计准则。
To address the significant attenuation of acoustic emission signals in traditional cylindrical waveguide rods,the introduction of polygonal cross⁃sections with discrete symmetry alters their continuously symmetric boundary conditions,thereby regulating propagation modes,and lead break and fixed⁃frequency test systems were used to verify their performance.The results show that the signal attenuation rate of a heptagonal waveguide rod can be reduced to 25.55%,significantly lower than the 58.61%attenuation rate of a cylindrical rod;when the number of polygon sides n increases from 3 to 5,the attenuation rate decreases sharply due to optimized boundary conditions;for n≥5,the attenuation rate stabilizes as it tends to saturate due to the modal purification effect.This phenomenon reveals the intrinsic mechanism by which cross⁃sectional shape suppresses attenuation by balancing modal purification and boundary scattering,providing a theoretical basis and design guidelines for waveguide rod design in acoustic emission monitoring systems under complex working conditions.
