摘要
为了更加深入揭示烟用接装纸的卷接黏合机制,明确烟用接装纸印刷面和非印刷面的表面性能对其黏合特性的影响,本研究利用扫描电子显微镜、平滑度测试仪、透气度测定仪、动态渗透分析法和Owens-Wendt-Rabel-Kaelble(OWRK)二液法,对接装纸表面的平滑度、孔隙度、疏水性、表面自由能及极性比率进行了研究,探讨了上胶开放时间和涂胶量对接装纸黏合的影响。实验结果表明,接装纸印刷面的疏水性强、孔隙开放程度小,表面自由能和极性比率较低且差异较大,然而接装纸非印刷面的疏水性差,孔隙开放程度大,表面自由能和极性比率较高;接装纸表面的渗透性越好,获得良好黏合效果的上胶开放时间越短,增加涂胶量会延长获得良好黏合的上胶开放时间,降低黏合不良率;疏水性差和孔隙开放程度大的接装纸非印刷表面有利于胶黏剂的渗透,接装纸两面疏水性差异影响接装纸黏合;接装纸表面自由能和极性比率越高越有利于黏合强度提高。
In order to gain a deeper understanding of the adhesion mechanism of cigarette tipping paper and clarify the influence of the surface characteristics of the printed and non-printed surfaces of cigarette tipping paper on their adhesive properties,the smoothness of paper,degree of pore opening,hydrophobicity,surface free energy and polarity ratio of the surface of tipping paper were investigated,the effects of opening time and amount of the adhesive application on the adhesion of cigarette tipping paper were explored in this study using scanning electron microscopy,smoothness tester,air permeability tester,dynamic permeability method,and the Owens-Wendt-Rabel-Kaelble(OWRK)two-liquid method.The experimental results showed that the printed surface of cigarette tipping paper has strong hydrophobicity,a small degree of pore opening,and low surface free energy and polarity ratio with significant difference among the samples,while the non-printed surface of the cigarette tipping paper has poor hydrophobicity,a large degree of pore opening,and high surface free energy and polarity ratio.The better the permeability of the surface of the cigarette tipping paper,the shorter the opening time of good adhesive application.Increasing the amount of adhesive application will prolong the adhesive opening time for achieving good adhesion and reduce the rate of poor adhesion.The poorly hydrophobic and porous surface of the cigarette tipping paper are beneficial to adhesive penetration,and difference in hydrophobicity between the two sides of the cigarette tipping paper can affect the bonding of the paper.The high surface free energy and polarity ratio of the surface of the cigarette tipping paper are beneficial for improving the adhesion strength.
