摘要
随着数字平台经济的纵深发展,企业依托数字资源整合重构创新生态的需求日益迫切。如何审慎选择合适的数字资源整合对象、如何实现有效数字资源整合,是亟待深入分析的重要理论和实践命题。本文基于资源编排理论,以2010—2022年中国沪深A股制造业上市公司专利数据和数字技术应用数据为样本,采用双向固定效应模型实证检验相似性数字资源整合和互补性数字资源整合对企业创新绩效的差异化影响,并探讨数字网络嵌入度的调节效应。研究结果显示:相似性数字资源整合和互补性数字资源整合能够提升企业创新绩效,而相似性数字资源整合对企业创新绩效的提升作用更强,该结论在经过内生性检验和稳健性检验后仍然成立。数字网络嵌入度正向调节相似性数字资源整合和互补性数字资源整合与企业创新绩效的关系。相似性数字资源整合和互补性数字资源整合对企业创新绩效的提升作用在国有企业中更明显;相似性数字资源整合对小规模企业创新绩效的提升作用显著,而互补性数字资源整合则对大规模企业创新绩效的提升作用显著。本文为制造业平台选择数字资源整合方式提供了理论依据和实证支持,也为企业开展数字网络嵌入实践、优化嵌入策略提供决策参考。
With the deepening development of the digital platform economy,manufacturing platform owners face an increasingly urgent and complex challenge:the need to reconstruct their innovation ecosystems through the strategic integration of digital resources.In practice,numerous enterprises fall into the pervasive misconception of“scale supremacy,”simplistically equating data volume with business value while critically overlooking the essential issue of digital resource compatibility and strategic fit.This oversight often results in diminished innovation performance.Therefore,how to carefully select appropriate targets for digital resource integration and how to achieve effective integration are critical theoretical and practical questions that require in‑depth analysis.This paper focuses on the strategic choices of manufacturing platform owners in expanding into vertical fields through complementary and similar digital resource integration strategies.Using a sample of Shanghai and Shenzhen A‑share listed manufacturing companies from 2010 to 2022 sourced from the China Stock Market&Accounting Research(CSMAR)database,and based on relevant authorized patent data and digital technology application data,the study empirically examines the differential impacts of complementary and similar digital resource integration strategies on corporate innovation performance,while exploring the moderating mechanism of digital network embeddedness.The findings reveal that both similar and complementary digital resource integration positively influence corporate innovation performance,with similar integration exerting a stronger effect on innovation.The regression results remain robust after replacing the dependent variable,addressing endogeneity concerns,and accounting for the impact of major macro events.Further analysis indicates that the degree of digital network embeddedness positively moderates the effects of both similar and complementary digital resource integration on innovation.Compared with existing research,this paper makes the following marginal contributions.First,unlike most studies that examine digital resource integration from the perspective of scale effects,this paper is grounded in the heterogeneous characteristics of digital resources,systematically analyzing the differential impacts of integrating different types of digital resources on innovation performance.This deepens and extends the existing theoretical framework of digital resource integration.Second,this study incorporates digital network embeddedness into the framework of enterprise digital resource integration,revealing the boundary role this factor plays in shaping the relationship between digital resource integration and innovation.This integration significantly extends the explanatory scope of digital resource integration theory and advances research on this vital topic within increasingly complex external environments.Collectively,these contributions offer a novel theoretical perspective and a more comprehensive analytical framework for uncovering the internal mechanisms that govern enterprise digital resource integration.
