Objective:To analyze correlation between substance P(SP),vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)levels and sleep disorders in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD).Methods:The clinical data of 80 patients with GERD admitted to this hospital from 2021 to 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were included in the observation group.According to whether sleep disorders occurred, they were divided into 33 patients with sleep disorders occurrence and 47 patients without sleep disorders occurrence. The clinical data of 80 healthy subjects in the same period were retrospectively analyzed and they were included in the control group. The levels of SP,VIP and 5-HT were compared between the two groups and the patients with and without sleep disorders occurrence.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the SP,VIP,5-HT levels and sleep disorders in the GERD patients. Results:The levels of VIP and 5-HT in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the level of SP was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of VIP and 5-HT in the patients with occurrence were lower than those in the patients without occurrence, the level of SP was higher than that in the patients without occurrence, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the SP level was positively correlated with sleep disorders in the GERD patients(r>0,P<0.05),and the VIP and 5-HT levels were negatively correlated with sleep disorders in the GERD patients(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusions:The level of SP is positively correlated with sleep disorders in the GERD patients, and the levels of VIP and 5-HT are negatively correlated with sleep disorders in the GERD patients.
