摘要
绍兴非遗有着悠久的历史和包容的精神内涵,对其进行英译是绍兴非遗对外宣传的重点内容之一。从对于绍兴非遗英语译文的情况来看,目前绍兴非遗英语译文数量有限等问题较为突出。基于此,本文旨在利用语料库的方法来进行相关文献搜索并建立绍兴非遗平行语料库,实现其英译水平的提升,进而更好地开展绍兴非遗的宣传,推进绍兴非遗文化向世界更好地展示出去。
The intangible cultural heritage(ICH)of Shaoxing boasts a long history and embodies an inclusive spiritual connotation.Its English translation is one of the key priorities in the international promotion of Shaoxing’s ICH.From the current perspective of English translations of Shaoxing’s ICH,prominent issues exist,such as an extreme scarcity of available translations and inconsistent quality among the existing ones.Against this backdrop,this paper aims to adopt a corpus-based approach to conduct relevant literature searches and establish a parallel corpus of Shaoxing’s ICH.The ultimate goals are to enhance the quality of its English translations,further facilitate the promotion of Shaoxing’s ICH,and better showcase the cultural essence of Shaoxing’s ICH to the world.
